Toya is a certified transformational leadership coach specializing in supporting women and professionals of color. In her coaching practice, Toya is committed to uplifting coachees to become their most fulfilled and authentic selves. Her work is informed by a numerous teachers, authors, artists, and practitioners—both personal and professional—including her sisters, aunts, husband, mother, and daughter.

Toya creates a supportive space where her coachees’ unique visions and goals are honored, offering strategies and tools to help them thrive. She recognizes the unique challenges professionals of color face and helps them navigate internalized oppression while centering joy, personal power, and self-compassion. Her approach emphasizes well-being, community, and the cultivation of self-worth.

Toya holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and a J.D. from George Washington University Law School. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), trained through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and holds certifications in TypeCoach, Breathwork, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Early in her career, Toya worked served as a prosecutor with the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office in Newark, was chief prosecutor for the Township of Franklin, and Of Counsel at Post Polak, PA. She then went on to establish her own New Jersey-based law firm, providing legal support to microbusinesses.

In her personal time, Toya enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring natural hair techniques on YouTube, and indulging in Shonda Rimes’ shows. She also makes time for reading and exercise.
