Laura Boyd is a certified professional coach specializing in empowerment and embodied leadership for high-achieving professionals. Drawing on her background as a former criminal defense attorney, entrepreneur and artist, Laura brings a distinctive perspective to her coaching practice, helping clients integrate authentic self-expression with professional excellence.

Laura's coaching approach draws from extensive training in evidence-based coaching methodologies and trauma-informed practices. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certified Lawyer Coach through the Volta Coach Training Program, and holds certifications in Transformational Embodiment Coaching, Breathwork, clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Mental Health First Aid.

In her coaching practice, Laura creates a supportive space where clients can explore their full potential through an integrated approach that combines embodiment practices, mindfulness techniques, and cognitive coaching methods — whether that be to tackle practical issues or more transformative pursuits. She helps professionals develop authentic leadership presence, enhance their confidence, and achieve sustainable success while maintaining personal wellbeing.

Laura graduated from UNC Chapel Hill School of Law and practiced criminal defense before transitioning to entrepreneurship. This experience gives her a firsthand understanding of the challenges professionals face in high-pressure environments and career transitions.

Beyond her coaching practice, Laura is dedicated to ongoing professional development and maintains a regular mindfulness and embodiment practice. She brings this holistic perspective to her work, helping clients balance professional achievement with personal fulfillment.

Laura lives in upstate New York with her wife and pets. She enjoys baking bread, reading (she's usually working through multiple books at once), and daydreaming about Paris.
