Kenneth Imo is an executive coach with more than 20 years of experience across the legal, financial, and technology sectors. He works with former athletes, lawyers, and executive leaders as they navigate personal and professional growth and pursue success throughout their careers. 

Kenneth has worked at leading organizations including Capital One, Fannie Mae, and Adobe. He is a former practicing attorney and has held several senior Director-level roles at leading international Am Law 50 firms. His work experience spans executive roles and advising teams in the courtroom, boardroom, and on the playing field, blending lessons from sports, military service, and corporate leadership. 

Kenneth’s career began as a captain in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps, where he honed leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving skills as a trial lawyer. He is a certified executive coach, and nationally recognized inclusion thought leader, with published works such as the American Bar Association book “Fix It: How History, Sports, and Education Can Inform Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Today.”

He holds a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he met his wife, Jennifer, and earned degrees in Economics and History from Southern Methodist University, where he attended on a football scholarship. His experience as a student-athlete instilled a strong appreciation for teamwork, discipline, self-awareness, mental agility, and collective success, values that inform his coaching philosophy.

Kenneth is a first-generation American born and raised in Houston, Texas, to parents who immigrated from Nigeria. He currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife Jennifer, their three daughters—Olivia, Cecilia, and Juliet—and their dogs Julio Jones and Sir Lewis Hamilton. Kenneth enjoys reading, writing, exercising, and sharing quality dining experiences with family and friends.
