Alex Weisz is a certified coach, career counselor, and former BigLaw attorney who helps lawyers succeed in high-pressure environments, navigate complex career transitions, and lead with greater clarity and impact. She has coached professionals across Am Law 100 firms, Fortune 500 companies, and high-growth organizations—partnering with associates, counsel, stakeholders, and firm leadership to support growth that is both strategic and sustainable.
Alex earned her B.A. from Harvard University and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She began her legal career as a private equity associate at Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York, where she practiced for several years. Motivated by a desire to move toward more people-focused, one-on-one work, she transitioned out of law into an executive role in human resources and operations at a commercial real estate investment and management firm - experience that ultimately led her to coaching.
Known for her grounded presence and thoughtful guidance, Alex's coaching style is warm, strategic, and empowering. She supports clients across a wide range of goals, including leadership development, team management, communication, business development, and career strategy. She is particularly skilled at supporting professionals through key inflection points, such as navigating feedback, expanding into leadership roles, pursuing career moves, or reassessing long-term goals. Her work blends traditional coaching with modern tools, including select tech-enabled supports like AI and assessments, to enhance insight, accelerate progress, and support smarter decision-making.
Alex received her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a Certified Professional Coach, having completed her ICF-accredited coach training through the highly-regarded Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) training program. Alex is also certified as an Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP).
